Miracles happen every day in every corner of the world. We know this. We know about magic. You may have experienced a miracle. You may know one. You may be one. What is a miracle? The dictionary defines it as “a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.” It is also defined as “a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences.”
Maybe you’re in need of a miracle. There may be financial problems – impending bankruptcy or foreclosure on a home. You or someone you love may be suffering from illness – a painful or chronic condition. There may be relationship problems – misunderstandings, arguments, even divorce. You may be suffering from a crisis of faith in yourself. If you think a miracle is the only thing that is going to make a difference, you may be right.
Miracles are available to you. They are not an accident. Mystical and non-ordinary experiences are very real. We have all had the experience of synchronicities that we know are not a coincidence. Carl Jung coined the term synchronicity to explain the interconnection with all beings via a collective Universal consciousness. He viewed synchronicity as a cosmic sign that you are aligned with your soul’s purpose, heading in the right direction, supported by the Universal consciousness.
So, how do you align yourself with miracles? How do you step into synchronicity?
Remove the concept of “coincidence” from your thoughts. Miracles happen in the moment. Consider that this coincidence is something that is a message from the Divine; a confirmation from your higher self; an affirmation that you are in the right place at the right time with the right people.
Focus on your dreams or goals. Understand your life’s purpose. Each one of us has a Divine mission to fulfill in life. Do not question. Put out the request to the Universe. “Ask and you shall you receive.” When you are inspired (in spirit) you open yourself up to receiving and begin to believe that it is possible. And then pay attention to synchronistic messages. Be ready and willing to look for miracles.
Comfort is your enemy. It is safe and predictable. You will remain in the same place if you remain comfortable. Your life experiences have programmed your subconscious mind to believe that this is the way things are. But… all of life is change. In order to succeed, you must be able to adapt to and embrace change. When you move outside of your comfort zone, your subconscious mind (your goal-achieving machine) begins to accept the thought that something entirely different is possible. And as you reinforce that thought, you form a new belief. New beliefs reinforce faith. A French proverb states, “There are no miracles for those that have no faith in them.” Making a choice to step outside of your comfort zone can create an extraordinary shift in your life circumstances – a miracle.
You must take action. When opportunity knocks, you must open the door. You must be ready, willing and able to accept that opportunity. You can’t say, “I’m too busy right now. I just don’t have enough time. I need to do this first. It’s too hard. I’m too old. I’m not old enough. I’m not smart enough. I don’t know how to do it. People will judge me. I’m afraid I’ll fail. I’m afraid I’ll succeed. I’m afraid you won’t like me if I’m more successful.” Remember, you create what you focus on. When you focus on what you DON’T want, you create that as well. “Ask and you shall receive.” Accept that the Universe is conspiring to bring you everything you desire and creating opportunities to fulfill your dreams. Take action on those synchronistic opportunities and expect a miracle. You’ll be surprised and delighted.
Believe in yourself. Love and accept yourself. Know that it is your soul’s desire that you fulfill your life’s purpose. There is a way for you to accomplish it. You are part of the great mosaic of All that Is. You matter. Your ideas and passions exist for a very important reason. The Universe supports you in being you in your experience of the miracle of life.
